Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Springfield Symphony Orchestra to share stage again this summer

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils headline Springfield's second annual Earth Day Music and Sustainability Festival at Jordan Valley Ice Park on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Following a successful, inaugural collaboration last year, the Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Springfield Symphony Orchestra are sharing the stage again this summer.

The Daredevils and orchestra are performing at The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts in Branson for a one-night concert on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The two musical groups held their first collaborative concert last September at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts to celebrate the hall's 30th anniversary.

"The first concert we did last year was outstanding," Springfield Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Music Director Kyle Pickett said in a news release. "We've had so many requests to do another concert ... The excitement in the Hall last year was electric. We hope everyone who missed the last one will get tickets to this performance or if you saw it, attend again."

Tickets for the one-night concert go on sale Friday, May 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets are available for purchase online at themansiontheatre.com/concerts, by phone at 417-335-2000 or in person at The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts box office at 189 Expressway Lane in Branson. Tickets will range between $45-85.
