Ozzy Osbourne has assured fans he is recovering after his fall and subsequent surgery last year but admitted it is a “slow process”.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 71, hurt his neck and back when he fell at his LA home in 2019 and aggravated an old injury he’d sustained when he crashed his quad bike back in 2003.

The star – who has Parkinson’s disease – previously revealed he was in “unbelievable pain 24/7” after taking the tumble.

Updating his fans on how he was doing as he appeared on wife Sharon’s show The Talk, Ozzy said: “I’m getting better.

“It’s a slow process, but I’m getting there slowly but surely.

The singer was on the US television programme alongside Sharon and their daughter Kelly, with the trio opening up about what life has been like for them amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Ozzy said: “It’s been good actually because I’ve been recovering from the surgery, I had last year.

“I’ve never been at home this long in my whole career.

“I’ve had the chance to see my wife’s side of the fence more than me being on the road.”

“It’s had its moments though, I must confess,” he added.

Sharon chimed in: “Yes, that’s when I go up to an empty room and just scream and then come down again!”

Ozzy and Sharon also have two other children together, a son named Jack and a daughter called Aimee.
