Pace man struck and killed walking across U.S. 90 in Santa Rosa County

A 65-year-old Pace man was struck and killed Sunday evening while walking across U.S. 90 in Santa Rosa County.

The man was walking north across U.S. 90 and Jerry Drive at approximately 5:22 p.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. He was struck by an SUV traveling north and driven by a 28-year-old Milton man. The pedestrian died on the scene.

The investigation into the crash is pending.
