Isaiah Jackson has been assigned to the Pacers' G-League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, as he continues rehabbing from a knee injury, the team announced Sunday.

Jackson, a 6-foot-10 rookie, was acquired from the Lakers in a five-team trade in August. He hyperextended his left knee in a 118-100 loss at Toronto on Oct. 27 and has been sidelined for nine straight games.

"He's doing well. He's doing better," Carlisle said. "He's gonna stay back (from the start of the Pacers' three-game road trip) and start doing some live practice stuff with the Mad Ants, and we'll see. He may join us later in the week, but we'll have to see."

The Pacers play at New York, Detroit and Charlotte on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, respectively, before returning home for a matchup with New Orleans on Saturday.

The Mad Ants host the Cleveland Charge at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday and Wednesday before facing the Wisconsin Herd on the road Friday.

Jackson was drafted 22nd overall this year and has appeared in two games for the Pacers, totaling a combined three points and four rebounds in 12 minutes.

"He's been on the court. He's been running. He hasn't done any live stuff," Carlisle said. "In Denver (last week) he did our non-contact stuff. We did some five-man weave (a passing drill) and some full-court shooting drills and stuff like that, he did that stuff. But he's entered a different stage and he's doing well, so we're excited to get him going again."
