Pacers rookie Kendall Brown out with stress reaction in his leg

INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers rookie wing Kendall Brown is out indefinitely with a stress reaction in his right tibia, the Pacers announced before Monday's game.

Brown will be re-evaluated by the team in two weeks and his status will be updated "as appropriate," according to the team.

Brown, a 6-8 wing from Baylor, was taken in the second round of the 2022 draft by the Timberwolves and traded to the Pacers along with a 2026 pick for cash considerations. He signed a two-way deal with the Pacers, going back and forth between Indiana and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Brown has appeared in six games with the Pacers and averaged 1.5 points in 6.7 minutes per game. He has also appeared in six games with the Mad Ants and averaged 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in those games.
