Pacific Airshow returns to Huntington Beach

The fan-favorite Pacific Airshow returns to Huntington Beach this year featuring a first-of-its-kind runway built on the sand.

The three-day spectacle will return to Surf City from Oct. 4-6 where visitors can view planes up close as they take off and land from the beach. Event officials said the temporary runway marks the first time an airshow has featured such an element.

Visitors can expect to see “heart-pumping aerobatic demonstrations” by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the fan-favorite F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team and the A-10 Demo Team. Dozens of military and civilian performers will be announced leading up to the show.

The event also features a boat race around Catalina Island, live entertainment, signing sessions with airshow performers and more. Visitors can also enjoy food, beverages and souvenirs on site.
