Pacific Police release video in injury hit-and-run

Pacific Police shared surveillance video to help find a driver who hit and injured a pedestrian on Sunday and then left the scene.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Ellingson Road at 6:50 a.m. near the Jack in the Box restaurant. The victim was hit while they were crossing the street.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a gray or silver 2016 to 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. It was heading west on Ellingson when it hit the victim.

The SUV was reported to have last been seen heading north on State Route 167.

If you have surveillance cameras, you’re asked to review the recordings and let police know if you saw anything. You’re also asked to contact police if you see an SUV matching the description that has a shattered windshield and recent front-end damage.
