Pacific Power restores service to 99% of customers

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Pacific Power announced Friday afternoon that they have restored power to over 99% of customers in the Willamette Valley after the winter storm caused multiple outages over the course of the week.

As of 3 p.m., the company said they are now down to 900 customers without power, with estimates saying most their customers will have service restored by Friday evening. However, some outages may extend into Saturday depending on damage.

Over the week, the company reported customer outages coming in waves, peaking at around 46,000 on Saturday and then at around 30,000 on Wednesday.
