Help for the offensive line and an intriguing tight end prospect were elevated from the practice squad to the gameday roster by the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.

The team brought up offensive lineman Ben Braden and tight end Dominique Dafney to the roster for Sunday’s visit from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Braden is a COVID-19 replacement for running back A.J. Dillon, who remains on the reserve list. He will provide depth along the offensive line, where the Packers will be without veteran center Corey Linsley (injured reserve).

Braden, who spent part of last season on Green Bay’s practice squad, has played four snaps for the Packers this season.

Dafney, a rookie from Indiana State, is a versatile fullback/tight end/H-back type who could play a couple of different roles for coach Matt LaFleur. He was an All-MVFC pick at fullback during his final collegiate season and has experience carrying the football and catching it as a receiver.

The Packers originally signed Dafney to the practice squad on Oct. 12.

Both players will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
