The Green Bay Packers will host the San Francisco 49ers next weekend at Lambeau Field for the NFC Divisional Round.

The sixth-seeded 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. Because the seventh-seeded Philadelphia Eagles lost earlier on Sunday, the 49ers are the lowest remaining team in the NFC field and will move on to face the top-seeded Packers in the next round.

The Packers and 49ers played in Santa Clara in Week 3. The 49ers came back to take a late lead but Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams set up Mason Crosby’s game-winning field goal. The Packers won, 30-28.

The 49ers finished 10-7 and made the playoffs as a wild-card team. Kyle Shanahan’s team beat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18 to qualify and then upset the Cowboys to open the playoffs.

San Francisco won four of its last four games and seven of its last nine in the regular season. The 49ers ranked 13th in points scored and ninth in points allowed this season.

The Packers and 49ers last faced off in the playoffs in 2019 when San Francisco beat Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game at Levi’s Stadium.
