Packers PFF grades: Best, worst players from Week 6 vs. Bears

The Green Bay Packers are 5-1 after overcoming an early deficit and beating the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers created three touchdowns, including the game-sealing touchdown run in the fourth quarter, and the Packers defense kept rookie Justin Fields under pressure for much of the contest.

Based on grades from Pro Football Focus, here are the best and worst performers from the Packers’ Week 6 win over the Bears.

Top 5 offense

1. TE Marcedes Lewis, 89.5
2. RB Aaron Jones, 84.7
3. QB Aaron Rodgers, 81.5
4. WR Davante Adams, 78.4
5. RB A.J. Dillon, 74.8

Excellent blocking grades in the run game and pass protection plus two catches for 17 yards put Lewis at the top of the list.

Jones had three catches of at least 10 yards and a 28-yard run, and he forced four missed tackles.

Rodgers was perfect on passes thrown under 20 yards in the air (16 for 16) and didn’t have a turnover-worthy play. He completed almost 74 percent of his passes and averaged 8.5 yards per attempt.

Adams caught four of his five targets, forced two missed tackles and gained 49 yards after the catch.

Dillon averaged 4.7 yards after first contact, forced three missed tackles and rushed for four first downs.

Top 5 defense

Gary delivered five pressures, including another quarterback hit, and three total stops. He has 23 pressures in six games.

Sullivan didn’t allow a reception on three targets into his coverage. He played 38 snaps in the slot.

Clark had a team-high six pressures and two sacks, plus two more stops.

Campbell produced three stops against the run and gave up only 18 yards into his coverage.

Black had four tackles without a miss and a pass breakup over 37 snaps.

Bottom 5 offense

Cobb was on the field for 23 snaps, including 15 passing plays, but didn’t have a target.

Runyan gave up two pressures and received poor grades as a run blocker.

St. Brown was dinged for a questionable pass interference penalty on what would’ve been a touchdown catch. He did receive strong run-blocking grades.

Newman gave up two more sacks and was the lowest-graded offensive lineman in the run game.

Tonyan received poor run blocking grades, and he caught only two passes despite running 19 routes.

Bottom 5 defense

Douglas gave up three catches and was penalized twice, and he also missed a tackle.

Smith had a pressure, but he also missed a tackle and gave up two completions for 29 yards into his coverage.

Burks had a missed tackle and was the lowest-graded defender against the run.

Barnes struggled mightily against the run and was responsible for a 5-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Yiadom gave up a catch for 20 yards and was penalized for pass interference during a nightmare opening series. He was benched after.

Defensive lineman Dean Lowry produced four more pressures and a sack. He has eight pressures over the last two games.

Aaron Rodgers was under pressure on nine of his 28 dropbacks (32.1 percent). Justin Fields was under pressure on 16 of 37 (43.2).

The Packers missed five more tackles on special teams.

Left tackle Elgton Jenkins gave up a sack and four total pressures.
