One week after Romeo Doubs scored his first NFL touchdown in Tampa, fellow Green Bay Packers rookie Christian Watson raced 15 yards on a jet sweep to find the end zone for the first time in his NFL career during the first half of Sunday’s showdown with the New England Patriots at Lambeau Field.

The score was the first rushing touchdown by a Packers receiver since Jeff Janis in 2016.

Watson’s score came on his seventh NFL touch. He caught five passes and rushed once during his first two regular-season games this season.

Watson, the 34th overall pick in the draft, used incredible speed to get the edge and a block from Doubs on the safety to clear a path to the end zone. He then finished the score with a Lambeau Leap.

Here’s the touchdown:

Watson returned Sunday after missing last week in Tampa with a hamstring injury.

The score finished off a six-play, 50-yard drive and gave the Packers a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter.
