Packers superfans Frozen Tundra Man, Pack Vader will battle it out with Chicago Bears superfans on NBC's new 'Free Agent Fan'
It’s the late-night face-off you never knew you needed: Frozen Tundra Man and Pack Vader vs. Bear Misterio and Bearman.
The oldest rivalry in the NFL is about to get a fresh twist when Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears superfans battle it out, icy beard vs. faux bear paws, to try get an uncommitted football fan to pledge their allegiance to their team in a new TV series on NBC.
“1st Look Presents: Free Agent Fan” premieres Saturday with Matt Iseman of “American Ninja Warrior” as the host of the three-episode series that showcases diehard fans from two different NFL teams each week as they try to win over a casual fan.

The schedule is as follows:
• Oct 15: New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles fans
• Oct. 22: Packers and Bears fans
• Oct. 29: San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams fans
Episodes will air immediately after “Saturday Night Live” in 11 NBC-owned markets, which do not include Green Bay. Viewers in northeast Wisconsin should check their local listings by searching "1st Look," not "Free Agent Fan." The online listings for WGBA-TV (NBC26) show "1st Look" airing at 3:03 a.m. Oct. 16.
Episodes will also stream on Peacock the following day as "Free Agent Fan" and will also post on the 1st Look TV YouTube channel on Mondays, after the Saturday broadcast.
Representing Green Bay in the Packers-Bears competition is Frozen Tundra Man, otherwise known as Fond du Lac resident Jeff Kahlow, whose extensive icicle-laden getup is a familiar sight at Lambeau Field during cold-weather games. Edgar Reyes, the Illinois resident who roams Lambeau tailgates as a green and gold version of "Star Wars" villain Darth Vader he calls Pack Vader, also will do his best to convince a fan to come over to the Packers' side.
In the other corner, it’s Bear Misterio and Don Wachter as Bearman, the character the longtime season ticket holder created in 1996 when he started attending games with his face painted navy and orange and wearing a real bear's head, fake fur and a Doug Plank jersey.
Personalities from Cheesehead TV and Chicago comedian Johnny Viti are also featured.
“Free Agent Fan” is part of “1st Look,” NBC’s entertainment and lifestyle program.
