Padres, PLNU join together to open state-of-the-art biomechanics lab
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The Padres in collaboration with Point Loma Nazarene University have now opened a state-of-the-art biomechanics lab.
It is a place where athletes from the preps to the pros can stay healthy, perfect their craft, and learn the science behind how it all works.
Padres pitching coach Ruben Niebla was out at the event and said that he has taken 30 of his pitchers through the lab to help prep them for upcoming Spring Training.
