The Chiefs will have plenty to of things to work on this week.
Two red-zone turnovers and a number of dropped passes proved costly in the Chiefs’ 21-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
One of the biggest drops came on the Chiefs’ final drive of the game. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a perfect pass to wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who dropped it at the end zone.
This could have been a game-winning 51-yard touchdown pass. Instead, the ball fell to the turf.

That MVS play is the definition of the season. So many drops this year. No points in the second half is terrible. Mahomes is dropping dimes out there. #ChiefsKingdom

The Chiefs’ final play of the game came on a fourth-and-25 pass from Mahomes that went through the hands of wide receiver Justin Watson. It would have been a first down.
Scratch that ... it should have been a first down.
