Palestine women's club hosting heart disease program
Feb. 17—The Palestine Negro Business and Professional Women Club, Inc. is sponsoring a heart disease program by Zoom at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18.
The theme of this program is "Did you know?" The guest speaker will be Registered Nurse Patricia R. Passmore.
Passmore has more than 30 years nursing experience. Serving her bedside dues on the medical-surgical floor, ICU, ER, Rehab, OR-Circulator and ICU-step down. She has served as a Director of Nurses in LTC for many years and also worked as a CNA, CMA and LVN clinical instructor.
Passmore currently works as a Corporate Compliance Nurse for Assisted Living for multiple facilities, multiple states. She owns Professional Health Enterprises, PLLC and under this umbrella she serves as a Texas Notary and as an CPR instructor.
Passmore is Vice President of Black Nurses Rock, Tyler Texas and a member of Alpha Pi Nu, Nursing Soroity, INC.; Tyler Texas Chapter of NAACP; Pride Of Palestine Order of Eastern Star; Rose City National Council of Negro Women; Texas Nurses Association; American Nurses Association; and the Nurses Christian Fellowship International.
