Palestinian hospital grapples with Israeli airstrikes

Violence on the Gaza strip worsened on Wednesday will the deaths of 13 more Palestinians coming as a result of further air strikes from Israel.

The worst fighting in months erupted on Tuesday (November 13), after Israel killed a senior commander of the Islamic Jihad militant group, accusing him of plotting and planning attacks against Israel.

Victims of the rocket attacks arrived at Shifa hospital in ambulances, taxi's and cars as the death toll rose to 23 according to reports.

Gaza militants responded by firing rockets into Israeli towns near the border with Gaza, but there so far have been no reports of any deaths in the country.
