Palm Beach County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 66% of people fully vaccinated

Some 66% of people living in Palm Beach County are fully vaccinated as of Jan. 18, according to data from Florida Department of Health.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Florida reported 5,153,539 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 6% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Florida as of Jan. 18 are Sumter County (86%), Miami-Dade County (82%), Osceola County (77%), St. Johns County (76%) and Monroe County (73%).
