The "Evening of Fashion and Art" included a cocktail reception, dinner, and leggy beauties Annabella Rockwell, Camille Schumacher, Juju Bernstein and Kimberly Flannery modeling hand-painted paper dresses by Nicole Miller.

Hand-painted paper dresses! The '60s are weeping bitter tears of envy.

Artist Camilla Webster donated a painting, which was purchased by Steve Schott, with proceeds benefitting the museum.

The evening's highlight was the presentation of the Great Patriot award to Schumacher for her contributions to freedom and democracy.

Schumacher is the founder of the Tree of Life Foundation.

"We are so excited to introduce the most comprehensive historical memorabilia in the country to Palm Beach," said chairwoman Bush Murray, who also is co-director the collection.

"From President Washington to President  Kennedy to Reagan, Obama, Trump and Biden, the museum showcases our extraordinary history and demonstrates the strength of our great democracy. As a former elementary schoolteacher I feel it is so critical that children are taught about our country and its history," she said.

Bob Murray, Greg Dryer and Greg Holmes were chairmen.
