PALM BEACH — Town police are conducting a death investigation this morning outside a bank on North County Road, police spokesman Will Rothrock said.

Police are in the "beginning stages" of the investigation, but Rothrock said "there are no safety concerns for the public due to this incident."

The incident appears to have taken place outside the Bank of America at 140 N. County Road.

A witness said "something large" could be seen covered on the ground near the ATM and surrounded by a yellow curtain. The area was roped off by police.
