Palm Beach agent Shelly Newman, who holds the second-most-expensive land listing in town, has moved her real estate license from William Raveis South Florida to the Corcoran Group.  Corcoran President and CEO Pamela Liebman made the announcement this month.

“We are thrilled to welcome Shelly to Corcoran,” Liebman said in a prepared statement. “She leads with humanity and authenticity, making her a perfect match for Corcoran’s human-first approach to real estate.”

Newman had been with the William Raveis since 2018 and was previously at Illustrated Properties in Palm Beach.

“I am so excited to join Corcoran. I have the utmost respect for Pam and her dedication to the industry,” Newman said.

She added that she appreciates how Corcoran’s brand recognition “extends widely across the top luxury markets in the country.”

Newman bought her $150 million ocean-to-lake land listing at 1980 S. Ocean Blvd. with her to Corcoran. The vacant property is immediately north of Sloans Curve and measures 2.28 acres.
