The processional was performed by the band, the chamber singers performed the national anthem, the alma mater and a tribute song "Shine Like Stars" to the Class of 2022. The wind ensemble sent off the graduates with a tune called "Nostalgia."

Remarkably, more than 100 students graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 4.0 or above. Students can earn higher than a 4.0 GPA for excellence in AP or honors classes.

Another 60 students are eligible to receive a seal of biliteracy on their diplomas.
