Three key roads are closed again as of Monday evening due to low visibility from blowing sand, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

North Gene Autry Trail between Interstate 10 and East Via Escuela is closed through the wash, East Vista Chino is closed at the wash between Clubhouse View Drive and Cathedral City limits, and North Indian Canyon between Sunrise Parkway and Palm Springs Station Road is also closed at the wash.

The three roads were also closed last week due to flooding after a storm closed the area, and reopened on Friday and Saturday.

A wind advisory is in effect for the Coachella Valley from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Another storm is also rolling into Southern California this week, with most precipitation falling Tuesday morning through evening.
