Palm Tree Sways in Wind as Lightning Flashes Across Phoenix Sky
Lightning lit up the Phoenix, Arizona, night sky on July 22, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a significant weather advisory and a flash flood warning for the area.
The NWS warned of heavy rainfall, lightning, strong winds, and hail. They called on residents to seek higher ground and, “avoid walking or driving through floodwaters”.
