Pamela Anderson Selling Malibu Home for $15 Million

Though best known for (fictitiously) saving lives all along the beaches of southern California, Pamela Anderson actually hails from much farther north—and the Canadian-born actress-model-activist has made her way back up the Pacific coast to settle down on Vancouver Island with her new husband, Dan Hayhurst. In the process, she’s offloading her longtime Malibu home, which will hit the market on March 8 with an asking price of $14.9 million.

The 5,500-square-foot beachfront home holds four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms spread across a main home and a detached lofted guesthouse, and is located in the guarded and gated Malibu Colony community. The two structures are separated by a large pool outfitted with a swim-up bar and surrounded by a sun deck; the outdoor space, surrounded by avocado, olive, and orange groves, also includes a broad covered dining area, a grotto-inspired hot tub next to a steel fire pit underneath the guesthouse, and private beach access.

Inside, the main house’s ground floor is dominated by a spacious great room comprising the kitchen, living, and dining rooms, with a wall of glass pocket doors that open onto the patio. The main suite takes up much of the second floor, with an open-plan bedroom and bathroom leading out to a private terrace that provides access to a rooftop deck.

Anderson, 53, purchased the property for about $1.8 million in 2000, and spent the ensuing decade constructing the gorgeous beach home. Now, she’s setting her sights on renovating her waterfront Vancouver Island farm, a six-acre compound that she bought from her grandmother decades ago
