Panda Express is inviting guests in Los Angeles to enjoy “an elevated dining experience” to celebrate the return of a fan-favorite menu item.

Beginning on Valentine’s Day, Firecracker Shrimp will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide. Panda Express originally introduced the Firecracker Shrimp to customers in 2020.

To celebrate the item’s return, the company will host a unique culinary event at one of its Los Angeles-based restaurants so guests can “enjoy a one-of-a-kind dinner experience, designed to spark conversations and meaningful connections at the table over delicious food and great company,” a news release said.

Guests will be treated to a five-course, prix fixe menu, which will include Mongolian beef sandwiches, Firecracker shrimp served with quinoa brown fried rice and an eggplant tofu side, and ‘Tea’ramisu cake.

The events will be held at the Panda Express location at 2011 Westwood Blvd in Los Angeles on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Those interested in attending can make reservations online. The cost is $38 per person.

About 200 seats are available, and reservations will be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis, Panda Express said in a statement.

The dining experience will also be available to guests in New York.

For those who can’t attend the event, Panda Express will also be offering “rewards members the opportunity to redeem one free small entree of Firecracker Shrimp with a purchase of a 2-item plate, from Feb. 19 through March 3, 2024, or while supplies last,” a news release said.
