Panel picked to help in MSU president search
Texas Tech University System regents have picked a committee to help in the search for a new president for Midwestern State University.

The panel of 11 includes eight Wichita Falls people.

They are:
Glenn Barham – former Wichita Falls mayor and current head of the Sheppard Military Affairs Committee
Tony Fidelie – attorney and former MSU regent
Michael Mills – Interim MSU vice president for enrollment management
Karen Moriarty – associate professor of nursing at MSU
Oku Okeke – manager at Pratt & Whitney and former MSU regent
Gabriella Pettijohn – MSU student
Shelley Sweatt – president of Priddy Foundation and former MSU regent
Sam Watson – MSU dean and professor
Non-Wichita Falls residents include:
Dailey Fuller – office of the Texas Tech chancellor, Lubbock
Ginger Kerrick Davis – member of Texas Tech board of regents, Houston
Pat Gordon – member of Texas Tech board of regents, El Paso
The committee will meet this week to begin the search. A search firm will also be hired, according to a press release from MSU.
The search for a new president became necessary when JuliAnn Mazachek resigned in January after less than a year on the job.
