Panic buying, lockdowns may drive world food inflation
Lockdowns and panic food buying because of the coronavirus pandemic could spark world food inflation even though there are ample supplies of staple grains and oilseeds in key exporting nations, a senior economist at the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization and agricultural analysts said.
