Panthers release 2023-24 eight-game preseason schedule

Fresh off a run to the Stanley Cup Final, we now know when the Florida Panthers will next hit the ice at FLA Live Arena.

The Panthers announced their preseason schedule Friday afternoon. It includes four games at FLA Live Arena, two on the road and two others at neutral sites.

The Panthers will first meet the Nashville Predators for a doubleheader at FLA Live Arena Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. It will be a return to South Florida for former Panthers coach Andrew Brunette, who was fired by the Panthers last summer and hired as the Predators new head coach last month. Brunette was an assistant coach with the New Jersey Devils last season.

The Panthers will then travel to Raleigh, North Carolina to face Carolina Sept. 27 and return to Sunrise to play the Hurricanes again. A date and time for the home game has yet to be determined.

A trip to Nova Scotia, Canada will follow as part of the previously announced Kraft Hockeyville matchup versus Ottawa on Oct. 1.

The Panthers will then finish the preseason with three games against Tampa Bay. The first will be at the Amway Center in Orlando Oct. 3, followed by an Oct. 5 game in Tampa and an Oct. 7 game at FLA Live Arena to round out the preseason.

Television broadcast information was not released.

The full NHL regular season schedule is expected to be revealed Tuesday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Carolina, 7 p.m

Sunday, Oct. 1 at Ottawa (in Nova Scotia)

Saturday, Oct. 7 vs. Tampa Bay, 6 p.m.
