The Panthers released their 2023 jersey color schedule. I ranked them worst to best

The Carolina Panthers released their jersey schedule for the 2023 season this week.

Players will wear white eight times, black seven times and blue two times this season. Pants and socks colors will be announced closer to game days.

After the announcement, fans took to Reddit to sound off about the schedule — and most were disappointed.

“We’re only wearing the blues twice…? That’s so trash,” one fan commented.

“I may be in the minority but this looks good compared to recent years,” another wrote. “Also prefer black over blue.”

But which color is the best? With the season just weeks away, I ranked each one from worst to best.

3. White

“Plain” is the only word I can use to describe this jersey.

There’s a reason why every NFL team has a jersey with white as the primary color, but the only upside this jersey has is that it’s more comfortable to wear in hot weather.

I agree with those who say the blue jerseys should replace the white as the primary jersey the team wears most of the time.

2. Blue

Unlike white, the “process blue” color, which Nike updated earlier this year, sets this jersey apart from other NFL teams, mainly because it isn’t hard to miss in a crowd.

It also aligns with the primary color of Charlotte’s MLS team.

1. Black

The Carolina Panthers will wear black jerseys in Super Bowl 50 after the Denver Broncos, deemed the home team, picked white.

Why is black No. 1 on the list? It may not be the preferred color of players (or fans who attend games where kickoff is at 1 p.m.), but it’s no shock that the Panthers won the NFL.com’s “Greatest Uniform in NFL History” contest in 2013 with their signature black-on-black look, which debuted in 2012.
