The Carolina Panthers are back in Spartanburg, S.C., for the launch of their annual training camp at Wofford College. With first-year head coach Frank Reich and rookie quarterback Bryce Young leading the charge, Carolina will look to develop a 53-man roster that can contend in the NFC South.

Along with Young, there will be several new faces at practice as fans look to attend the summer workouts, which are free and open to the public. Those new recruits, along with a formidable new coaching staff, will look to get off to a strong start to camp before transitioning into joint practices with the New York Jets and three preseason games.

With all of the moving and shaking on the roster, The Observer has created this guide to help cut out the clutter and make training camp viewing just a bit easier for those in attendance or following along from home:

However, due to the first-come, first-serve nature of the attendance, the team has encouraged fans to register ahead — through Ticketmaster — to secure entry to the practices.

Players placed on the active-physically unable to perform (PUP) list count against the active roster during training camp and the preseason. Those players can come off the list at any point ahead of the cut-down deadline on Aug. 29. However, if a player remains on the PUP list throughout training camp and the preseason and beyond the cut-down deadline, he will miss at least the first four games of the season on the PUP reserve list.

The NFL now has just one cut-down deadline. Teams must reduce their rosters from 90 to 53 players on Aug. 29 at 4 p.m.
