Papa John's is now open on Stewart Avenue in Wausau

WAUSAU – Papa John’s is now open in Wausau.

The pizza chain opened its new location Monday at 221 Stewart Ave. in Wausau and celebrated with a grand opening Wednesday.

Papa John’s originally planned to open in January, but construction material shortages delayed the opening until October. The company kept pushing the opening date throughout the year while waiting for the last of the materials to arrive.

The restaurant is open for delivery from 10 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. Customers can come in to pick up carryout orders from 10 a.m. to 10:40 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11:40 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9:40 p.m. Sunday.
