A downtown Sioux Falls pizza shop is temporarily closing its doors as it prepares to move into a much larger space of its own.

Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza, currently in the Jones421 building, is closing temporarily in order to move, according to the restaurant’s Facebook post.

Its new building will be just a few blocks away at 775 N. Phillips Ave. Saturday will be its last day as a small operation in the Jones421 building, which helps grow small businesses in a counter-serve space before moving into one of their own.

The restaurant estimates it will open Valentine's Day in its new building at The Cascade at Falls Park.

The restaurant has had to push back its opening date due to the sheer amount of construction and businesses applying for building permits over the past year in Sioux Falls.
