Parade highlights week of Family Fun Fest events in Waite Park

WAITE PARK — After a two-year COVID-19-induced hiatus, the annual Spass Tag Family Fun Fest has returned.

The 56th annual festival was highlighted by the nearly hour-long Grand Day Parade Thursday night through the streets of Waite Park.

A concert by The HoneyBadgers followed at Community Park.

Friday's planned highlights were the 10th annual car show and a concert by Stone Road. The medallion hunt winner was set to be announced at 5 p.m. Friday.

Friday's events capped a full week of activities including a kiddie parade, medallion hunt, train tours, quarry tours and a city-wide garage sale.
