Paraplegic athletes compete in Cybathlon

The Cybathlon saw all 51 teams competing remotely in 20 countries around the world in the six categories including obstacle courses for competitors with powered arm or leg prostheses, robotic exoskeletons, motorised wheelchairs and a bike race with electronic leg muscle stimulation.

Each competitor had three hours in which to make three attempts at an obstacle course, with the best attempt counting towards their result.

Official Cybathlon referees were on site to enforce the rules and judge the attempts at all race venues around the world.
