Parents of 4-year-old autistic boy released on bond

HENRY COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — The parents of a 4-year-old autistic boy who went missing in early January have been released from custody.

Shyanne Nicole Ray, 25, was released from the Henry County Jail on Wednesday, February 7, and 39-year-old Joshua Thad Wilkerson was released on Thursday, February 8, each on a $5,000 bond.

Ray and Wilkerson were arrested on Wednesday after investigators claimed they used meth and marijuana at their home on January 12, the day Phenix Wilkerson went missing. They are facing two counts of chemical endangerment of a child each.
