Paris Authorities Remove Barricades, Extinguish Fires, on 1st Anniversary of Yellow Vest Protests

Police removed makeshift barricades and firefighters rushed to extinguish fires on November 16 as clashes erupted in Paris between authorities and protesters on the first anniversary of the Gilet Jaunes (Yellow Vest) protests.

This footage shows authorities responding to the unrest in and around Place d’Italie, where bonfires were erected and police used tear gas to try to disperse demonstrators.
