Paris Hilton wants everyone to know that something on the internet featuring her is not real.

After decades in the public eye, Hilton finally found something that very much is not hot: Photoshopped pictures of her that went viral several years ago.

The heiress and famous person took to TikTok to let her fans know the truth about a famous image of her wearing a shirt that reads “Stop Being Poor.” Namely, that the image is a fake!

“So there’s this photo online of me — I’m sure you’ve seen it,” Hilton, 40, said. “I never wore that shirt. This was completely Photoshopped, everyone thinks it’s real but that’s not the truth.”

The shirt’s real message: “Stop Being Desperate.”

“Don’t believe everything you read,” Hilton says at the end of the video, which she captioned and hash-tagged “Debunking the ##STOPBEINGPOOR myth. 🙅🏼‍♀️😹 Don’t believe everything you read. 😏 ##greenscreen ##Iconic 👑

The original photo was taken in 2005 after a party at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. The fake image was posted on Tumblr several years later.
