Park district gives discounts to veterans

Veterans and their families can get a discount at the Lincoln Park District. The discount applies to veterans and family members in the same household and continues annually with each renewal. The discount is 15% off and veterans are charged the in-district rate regardless of where they live in the County, which increases the discount applied.

In addition, all new veterans signing up by Feb. 14 will receive a Lincoln Park District water bottle sponsored by the VAC in further appreciation for their service. Veterans are asked to provide their DD-214 when signing up. For more information individuals may contact the Park District in person or by phone at 217-732-8770.
