Park Ridge police: Suspect tries to break into car, home

Theft

A complainant involved in an accident on the 1700 block of Dempster Street later went to retrieve his laptop from his vehicle and found it missing June 6, police said.

Three unknown male subjects shoplifted alcohol and tobacco products from Walgreens on the 800 block of Devon Avenue before fleeing the scene June 17, police said.

An unknown male subject shoplifted several cosmetics from Walgreens on the 800 block of Devon Avenue before fleeing the scene June 18, police said.

A group of three unknown female subjects shoplifted several cosmetics from Walgreens on the 800 block of Devon Avenue before fleeing the scene June 18, police said.

The owner of a snowplow parked on the 900 block of Granville Avenue found that parts of the plow were missing June 20, police said.

A catalytic converter was removed from a Toyota Prius parked on the 1600 block of Courtland Avenue June 3, police said.

Suspicious circumstances

An unknown male subject appeared on surveillance footage June 21 trying to open the door to a car parked on the 500 block of Prospect Avenue and trying to enter the residence through a side door, police said.

Disorderly conduct

Jason Brueck, 43, of the 1700 block of Pavilion Way, Park Ridge, was arrested at his residence for disorderly conduct June 19, police said.

Traffic violations

Christopher Ludston, 51, of the 4900 block of North Clifton Avenue, Norridge, was arrested June 20 at the intersection of Dee Road and Talcott Avenue for driving on a revoked driver’s license and using a turn signal improperly, police said.

Mansur Akhmetkhanov, 43, of the 10100 block of Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested June 20 for driving on a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and texting and driving, police said.

Jesenia Badillo, 24, of the 3100 block of Ruby Street, Franklin Park, was arrested June 21 at the intersection of Dempster Street and Luther Lane for driving on an expired driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle with expired registration, failing to carry and display a driver’s license, using tinted windows and not using a seatbelt correctly, police said.

Ryan Castillo, 36, of the 3700 block of Giddings Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 21 at the intersection of Oakton Street and Greenwood Avenue for driving an uninsured vehicle with expired registration and a suspended driver’s license, police said.

Nika Kvrikadze, 45, of the 5000 block of Glenwood Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 21 on the 1300 block of Higgins Avenue for driving without a valid driver’s license and proof of registration and failing to wear a seat belt, police siad.

Gabrielle Barber, 23, of the 2500 block of Estes Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 23 for driving on an expired driver’s license, unlawful possession of cannabis and operating an uninsured motor vehicle with its registration expired at the intersection of Touhy and Greenwood Avenues, police said.

Assault

Two 17-year-old males from Harwood Heights were arrested, one for simple assault and one for whom a warrant was issued,on the 300 block of South Western Avenue June 20, police said.

Trespass

Jack Carrillo, 19, of the 300 block of Western Avenue, Park Ridge and a 17-year-old male from Harwood Heights were arrested June 24 for criminal trespassing on state supported land on the 100 block of South Western Avenue June 24, police said. Carrillo was also cited for possession of alcohol by a minor on the 100 block of Western Avenue June 24, police said.
