Park Visitors, and Butterflies, Enjoy Wildflower Super Bloom in California Desert

A wetter-than-normal winter has created the perfect conditions for desert super blooms in southern California, with Anza-Borrego Desert State Park playing a starring role in the display of nature’s beauty.

Daniel J Webb and his wife Tracy went down to their favorite spot, in Coyote Canyon, on March 9, to see for themselves.

Using his handheld camera, Webb made a timelapse video of the scene.

Commenting on his video on Facebook, Webb wrote, “All the specks you see flying by are butterflies!” Credit: Daniel J Webb via Storyful
