Lego Club – On Monday, Oct. 3 from 6-7 pm, ages 5-12 can come to the Tallmadge Recreation Center to build themed Lego creation. Finished creations will be displayed at the Rec. Cost is $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents. Register by Sept. 30.

Tallmadge Fall Festival - The Tallmadge Fall Festival is back! This year’s event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 1-6 pm in the Tallmadge Recreation Center Parking Lot. This year’s event will feature food trucks, a beer garden, live music from Secondhand Radio, inflatable games, hayrides and a pie-eating contest at 2:30 pm. Admission and parking are free. Activity wristband and beer ticket sales are cash-only. Wristbands good for unlimited kids’ activities and hayrides are $5 each. Beer tickets will be $5 each. Beer tickets and activity wristbands are cash only. Food trucks include Metropolis Popcorn, Sticks, Funny Cakes and D-Bo’s Grill. Most food trucks will accept credit cards. Rec Center Closing Early for Fall Festival – The Rec Center will close at noon on Saturday, Oct. 8, for the Fall Festival. We will reopen at 7 am on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Girl Scout Campfire – Girl Scout Troops can enjoy a night of campfire fun on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 6-8 pm at Lions Park. The night includes s’mores, songs and a patch. One leader should register all troop members by Oct. 6. Cost is $5 per resident Scout and $7 per non-resident Scout. Leaders and chaperones are free.

Tallmadge Community All Star Basketball League – Registration for the 2022-23 Tallmadge Community All Star league will start Thursday, Oct. 13. This league is for community-based teams of girls in grades 4-6 and boys in grades 3-6. The league plays 8 games at the Tallmadge Recreation Center from Nov. 27-Jan. 29. Cost is $525 per team. No individual player registrations are accepted.

No School Day Camps – The Tallmadge Recreation Center will host No School Day Camps on Oct. 14 and Oct. 17 from 6:30 am-6:30 pm. Children ages 5-13 will enjoy supervised group games and activities. Morning snack, lunch and afternoon snacks are included. Cost is $35 per resident child and $45 per non-resident child. Registration is required by Monday, Oct. 9.
