Parks and Recreation stars have got together for a heartwarming reunion photo in celebration of an unofficial holiday: Galentine's Day.

Posting a selfie together, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza and Kathryn Hahn took to Instagram to celebrate the holiday, which is unofficially celebrated on February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day.

Sharing the picture to both their Instagram accounts, Rashida Jones and Aubrey Plaza captioned the post: "Happy Galentine's Day."

In the snap, Jones beams in the middle of the three women as they poke their heads in behind her.

The four stars regularly reunite to celebrate the day which was famously featured in an episode during Parks and Recreation's second season.

Poehler, Plaza, Jones and Hahn starred together in the hit sitcom as Leslie Knope, April Ludgate-Dwyer, Ann Perkins and Jen Barkley respectively.

The now real-life celebrated holiday was first coined by Leslie Knope (Poehler) to celebrate the women in her life, and as a day to "kick it breakfast style".

While a mini reunion is exciting enough, Poehler hasn't ruled out the possibility of a reboot or revival of the hit sitcom.

Speaking last year, Poehler said that she is "always standing by" to reprise the role of Leslie, adding: "Anytime anybody gives me the word, I'm down."

Meanwhile, back in 2020 the show's creator Michael Schur said he was open to the idea: "Well, I guess I'll say what I said last time, which was: I'll never say never. Again, I really didn't think [the virtual special] was ever going to happen. But also suddenly it became a fun and neat thing to do. I have no idea. What was delightful and abundantly clear based on this experience is that the bat signal can go up for this group of people and they will answer the call. So, if there is another compelling reason to do this at some point down the road, then maybe it'll happen again."
