Parkway East single-lane closure to take place Thursday, Friday nights

PennDOT has announced a single-lane closure on the Parkway East this Thursday and Friday night.

The lane closure will be in the westbound direction between the Glenwood and Oakland exits from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday and Friday nights as crews from Allison Park Contractors, Inc. conduct compression seal and deck repairs.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com.
