In a recent study analyzing the places in Florida with the highest per capita wealth, Collier County nabbed the second place spot on the list among 67 counties.
To identify the wealthiest counties, financial technology company SmartAsset compared all U.S. counties across three metrics: investment income generated by each county, property value, and per capita income.
The western gateway to the Everglades, the southwest county is known for its lavish lifestyles, growing development, and huge homes. In addition, it boosts some of the wealthiest cities in the entire country, with Naples and Marco Island.
