Parsons felon arrested again on domestic related charges

PARSONS, Kan. — A man recently bonded out of jail is arrested again for allegedly battering, and threatening a woman.

On Saturday, Parsons officers were called to the lobby of the police department for a domestic fight. The victim at the department told officers the incident originally happened in the 2900 block of Morgan, and involved Sir Christuffer Roeder, who was recently arrested in a robbery and kidnapping case.

FOUR STATES CRIME…

Roeder, who bonded out Friday, battered the victim after accusing them of cheating. He then drug them outside and took the victim’s phone before a scuffle for a knife occurred. The victim managed to get away.

Officers were later called to the 200 block of N 14th St. for a verbal altercation between the victim and Roeder. Arriving officers could not locate Roeder. That evening, Roeder was spotted at a different residence by police and then taken into custody.

Roeder remains in Parsons Lockup and faces charges for aggravated assault, criminal threat, robbery, and domestic battery.

The investigation remains ongoing.
