Partial human remains found in October in Pima County identified

Pima County authorities identified partial human remains found in early October in the Three Points community as belonging to 74-year-old Michael Brown, officials announced Wednesday.

The manner of Brown's death has not been determined, and a suspicious death investigation is ongoing, according to a Pima County Sheriff's Department news release.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about the death shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 in the area of South Howling Coyote Trail and West Hermans Road.

"Deputies immediately identified suspicious circumstances and requested the response of detectives," the release stated.

Anyone with information about the case can call 911 or submit an anonymous tip with the potential for a reward by going to 88CRIME.org.
