Netflix released the first official trailer for “Partner Track" on Friday. The upcoming series stars Arden Cho as Ingrid Yun, a first-generation Chinese American who aspires to become the first minority woman to make partner at her elite law firm.

The 10-episode series is based on Helen Wan’s 2013 acclaimed novel of the same name.

“Being on the partner track is how you find out who you really are,” narrates a confident, chic Yun, dressed from head to toe in pink formal attire. “It’s cutthroat and I’m so close.”

“You have worked non-stop for six years, it’s in the bag,” assures a colleague as the two walk through an office building.

As told in the book, Yun’s life becomes complicated when she’s forced to juggle her love life and her work ambitions.

She begins dating Nick Laren (Rob Leaps), who her friend describes to be New York City’s “most eligible Hedge fund."

However, a former lover from six years ago re-enters her life, specifically her workspace, and things heat up from there with flashback memories.

Cho made headlines earlier this year when it was revealed by anonymous sources that the actor had left her role as Kira Yukimura in the MTV series “Teen Wolf” in 2016 after being reportedly offered half the per-episode salary compared to her three female co-stars.

She went on to star in several other works, including the film “Stuck” in 2017 about six strangers who get stuck on a New York City subway together and medical drama “Chicago Med” from 2018-2019.
