Parts of US could see Northern Lights again

Two days ago the sun wound up and threw a bit of itself into our solar system with some of that matter heading in Earth’s direction. This may cause you to say, “what’s the matter?” Well, it is made up of electrons and protons flying through space at over 2 million mph. It takes two days to travel to Earth and when it arrives it could create a solar storm. At its worst it could disrupt communications, power grids and satellites, but this is not likely. With this event, most likely, we may see the northern lights at latitudes which do not typically see the lightshow such as Oregon, Nebraska, and Virginia.
