WORCESTER — A trip to India was as close as the DCU Center Saturday at the India Society of Worcester's India Day festival. With this year marking the 75th year of India's independence, the society joined several other Indian organizations for a month of celebrations kicked off by the festival. The free event included a kids' zone, cultural programs, face painting, Indian food, artisan bazaar and more.
